1. Estimating

Each project approached by McCormack Contracting starts with a concept phase during which we estimate the cost and timeline of the project to alleviate some of the undue stress related to residential renovation, construction or various contracting projects. We do a full assessment of the project, cash flow projections and take into account our client's budget during the estimating phase. We also deal with any possible surveys and bond issues during this time. McCormack Contracting also does a review on the constructability of the project, coordinates with utility companies affected by the project and manages full permit processing during the estimating phase as it relates to costs involved in the project.

2. Budgeting

Once we can offer our client an estimate, we'll consult with our client with full appreciation of each of their budgetary concerns, making changes or offering alternatives when necessary. Alternative options could be considered that render top quality products while still remaining within the margins of the budget.

3. Cost Analysis

With each project, McCormack Contracting does a full cost analysis of each step necessary to complete a project. This analysis is submitted to our clients before the project starts and we accommodate necessary changes our clients want to make based on the analysis.

4. Scheduling

McCormack Contracting offers scheduling services for both the concept phase as well as the construction phase of each project. Scheduling is an important part of a project as it affects a wide range of issues such as budget, timeline and occupancy dates. Each scheduling service has critical project milestones, managed by McCormack Contracting. Regular team meetings ensure open communication with our professionals working on each project which we relay to each client should any major changes occur and schedules be amended. During the Construction phase of the project, we monitor progress daily with focus on making any changes necessary to maintain the progress of each project. During both phases we keep the client up to date on progress as well as any events that could delay any steps in the process.

5. Construction Management

McCormack Contracting supplies full services construction management. This service covers every facet of each project from start to finish. From contract administration and bid packages through contractor coordination and quality control, McCormack Contracting manages each project with fiscal responsibility and progress as our chief concern. After completion we also manage final inspections, occupancy permits and owner move-in dates [with large projects involving owner evacuation], we stay on top of each project until contract close-out and until we'­ve achieved complete client approval.
